Office Manager​
Qualifications:

Minimum education of a GED, preferably a high school diploma
-
Possess computer skills, knowledge of software programs (such as Microsoft Word, QuickBooks, Excel, etc.) or a willingness to learn programs used by the church.

Demonstrates strong written and oral communication skills, as well as strong telephone etiquette.

Exhibits professionalism through a well-groomed appearance, a conscientious work ethic and a willingness to be held accountable to this job description.

Demonstrates the need for confidentiality of information.

Exercises discernment and wise judgment in decision making situations.

Is an initiative-taker, good at multi-tasking and prioritizing projects/workload, and exhibits an aggressive willingness to seek current information, training, and resources.

Demonstrates strong administrative skills with an ability to work independently.

Church membership required.
Duties of Office Manager:
-
Answers all incoming phone calls, screens, and routes to appropriate person.
-
Daily checks emails and responds as appropriate.
-
Prepares and prints Annual and Semi-Annual Reports
-
Schedules and attends all board meetings and keeps accurate record of the minutes.
-
Routinely files all necessary paperwork.
-
Keeps an accurate calendar of meetings and appointments and the schedule of activities in either building (posts on calendar outside the office)

Notifies pastor and board members of hospitalizations, deaths, etc. of church attendees and/or church families.
-
Maintains and updates all forms and ministry literature and church website.
-
Processes payroll and invoices, time sheets and records all actions on QuickBooks.
-
Makes sure quarterly payroll reports are completed and submitted in a timely manner.

Makes and records all church deposits.
-
Enter all disbursements in proper budget line items using QuickBooks.

Prepares monthly financial statement and the board meeting agenda.

Meets monthly with other staff members.
-
Other duties and responsibilities as assigned.

Coordinate use of facilities and implement board policy.

Working Time:
20-25 hours per week, minimum 4 days per week with the potential for expansion to full time
Compensation
Salary range of $18- $22 per hour depending on experience

KCC Office Assistant

Duties of Office Assistant:

Assist with organization and coordination of facility and its use (foyer, sanctuary, etc.)

Fulfill duties of office manager in their absence.

Orders, organizes, and maintains office supplies, kitchen/cleaning supplies and equipment.

Picks up mail, routes to appropriate personnel, as needed. Response to certain mail items may also be required.

Seeks necessary information for preparation of weekly bulletin, then prepares, proofs, prints, folds, and place in foyer.

Keeps accurate membership records (active and inactive members, new members, baptisms, weddings, deaths, etc.)

Schedules and attends board meetings and keeps accurate record of the minutes, in absence of office manager.

Prepares Power-Point for Sunday morning worship service.

Maintains and updates forms and ministry literature (daily breads/signup sheets/magazines, etc.

Prepare communion for the first Sunday of each month.

12-15 anticipated hours per week
Compensation:
Salary range of $14.00-$16.00 an hour depending on experience
